Hello all. I’m new to the forum. I discovered JD Race on EBay, while looking for parts for three 70-72 Skylarks I hope to restore. I have a 71 custom, 72 custom convertible, and a 70 GS 455 Stage 1. Currently working on the rear suspension on my 70 GS. Car was pretty much “pinned” together when I got it. It had a piece of plate steel acting as the passenger side lower control arm, if that gives you an idea. Heading to paint in a few weeks, so I’m trying to make the car safe to be lifted and worked around.

Rear end questions to come on the proper forum.
Thanks for having me.

New to monzaz forum. In today's episode I intend to investigate the amount of oil on dummy dist after priming redone sbc.Gonn have to remove intake and prime once again to see where all the oil is coming from. I had seen vid of my break in + I don't know if oil pressure went over 25.. Already redid headz cuz the ex ports were oily when I went to check things out If they neglected to do Valve job they prolly didn't resize the rods either 100° degrees in garage but at least engine on stand. Intend to replace aftermarket oil pan cuz I'm almost positive it won't clear crossmember. . Can't take anything for granted when it comes to engine rebuild
