THIS DID NOT COME FROM A 1972 IMPALA IT IS A 1965-1970 IMPALA maybe...

All depends on how wide the rear is .
1965-1970 Impala 10 bolts were 8.2 NOT 8.5 like the 1971-1976 and 1977-1989 were.
