8.5

Post by MWireman »

I would consider an 8.5 rear for my s10 but I want bolt in axles, can you put the new style ford housing ends on an 8.5? I have brakes for the new style ford ends and was thinking I could run theses drum brakes w/ chevy pattern. I'm drag racing this truck is the reason I want bolt in axles.
I am considering the dana 60 that your selling now as well.

Well It would be easier to just use all GM brakes then for you to have to redrill ford drums and brakes etc. WE can give you the same GM 9.5 x 2 standard brakes with the FORD large bearing with Moser race axles up to 33 spline axles as 28 30 33 spline will ALL be the same price so why not just get the 33. FULL spool any ratio and you are goo to go well into the 9 sec range NO problem.

We can figure you a price just provide a email in the PM and will get one out for you ASAP.

Will price out the DANA 60 also if you like ..What ratio were you planing on running in the S-10 :) Jim

My ford brakes are already drilled for chevy bolt pattern. I want to run 4.56 gear ratio. I have some friends that ran the c clip eliminators and I didnt like the fact that they leaked so I defintely want a ford style bolt in axle 33 spline. I'll setup the gears myself just need the housing and axles.
So I need a 8.5 rear with bolt in axles for a 92 S10 2wd that will be stock width. If possible with the ford big bearing housing ends.
