I have a 71' Cutlass 8.5. It came with no yoke on the pinion gear. I have a 79' Trans Am 8.5 that I can use for parts. Can the yoke from the TA be used on the A-body's 8.5?

You can use one off a truck also
The only 8.5 yoke that is different is the 1972-1979 NOVA / x-body 8.5 which came with a 1310 u-joint saddle.
