Turbo 400 yoke

Post by Butcher455 »

I have a driveshaft for a turbo 400 that is 3/4" too long. Is it possible to shorten the turbo 400 yoke instead of shortening the driveshaft. The yoke is 5 1/2" from center of u-joint to the end of the yoke. It takes the 1350 u-joint if that matters.
Thanks for any help.

You should not cut down your yoke. What rear did you replace your original rear with? If drive shaft is original it probably needs a balancing anyway and after they cut it they will do this.
