Is it possible to fit a -71 Riviera rear end under a -65 A-body?
And if so what would it take?

Anything is POSSIBLE.... But to do this it will be way to wide and too much welding and special control arm mods. JUST not worth the effort. Not to mention unless it is a 8.5 10 bolt you will not ever be able to find parts for the rear. Jim
There are plenty of bertter donor rears all 1064-1972 will fit exactly gto Lemans tempest cutlass skylark monte carlo grand grix (69-72)

remember the 1964-1967 chevy rears will be the same width and the 68-72 will be slightly wider by 1" overall or 1/2" ON EACH SIDE. jIM
