s-10 8.8 is HERE!!! pictures and info!!!

Ok here if what has been requested by alot of customers onthe v8 s-10 forum

8.8 ford 2wd drive and 4wd differentials

specs-
-custom fabricated 8.8 stock fit housing. NOT one modification required!!!!
-Moser 28 or 31 spline axles
-will accept same u-joint from the drive shaft
-NO NO NO drive shaft cutting necessary!!! <<<<<< big deal here....... yippie
-ALL stock drum brake components will fit.
-All stock shock plates and u-bolts and springs can be reused...'
-Stock GM wheels with stock s-10 5 x 4 3/4" bolt pattern can be reused also.

Just very please with the out come.

Here is the proto type of the 2wd 8.8 ford rear Moser 28 spline axle 3.73 and factory ford posi unit.

how much for the 8.8 S10 rear for a 2wd. Will these be bolt in axles or c-clip?

Can be either Bolt in axles will always be more as they will be custom ends moser race axles etc. What are you thoughts for truck usage? Power type of driving. Etc. Jim

Was planning on a lot of strip and some street..I figure 3.73 or 4.10 gear ratio...31 spline c-clip would be fine as I only have a 350-400 horse motor. Or maybe a good aftermarket 28 spline posi and Moser axles for the 7.5 rear would probably work too.
