30 splines c-clip axles
How strong are 12 bolt aftermarket 30 splines c-clip axles? Like strange, Moser and other us made axles. 550-600hp and drag radials ok?

Yes - You will likely break a spider gear before the axle shaft.
YOU HAVE TO REMEMBER- ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN - IT WILL DEPEND ON THE AMOUNT OF TORQUE YOU ARE GRABBING AT THE TRACK ...NOT HP. TORQUE BREAKS PARTS NOT HORSE POWER.!!!
If you like to drag race a lot make sure you install ...a least a cheap disc brake kit on the rear.
This will act as a C- clip eliminator for the axles JUST in case they do snap. The axles will be retained by the disc brake caliper and rotor which is bolted to the caliper bracket.
We only use C-clip elim blocks and bearing when it is JUST a drag race cart and were running a FULL SPOOL.
now a days almost everyone is switching to rear disc brakes so c-clip rears really are not an issue PLUS c-clip axle systems are MUCH better longevity than a sealed bolt in axle bearing system they can last up to 100 k normal every day driving before even leaking.
OF COURSE this is with proper FLUID LEVEL maintenance in the rear end.
The biggest trouble a rear gets into is LACK of fluid level. Period.
