Hi, I need to confirm the type of rear in the car because the drivers side axle seal is leaking. I purchased it off of Ebay over 10 years ago and unfortunately can't find and of the documentation that came with it. I do know its a 10 bolt 8.5 posi from what i believe was out of an Oldsmobile. Any assistance would be appreciated.

Yes it is a 1971 1972 Oldsmobile Cutlass rear.
axle bearing is a TIMKIN SET9
SEAL IS A TIMKIN 712146 SEAL

PLEASE BUY TIMKIN OR YOU WILL HAVE a bunch of issues with the bearing and end play etc if you try to use a cheaper brand. if you can not find the parts we always have them in stock. just PM will get them for you. Jim
