hello.. i was wondering if it is possible to space a 2 series carrier? these 241 gears are really holding me back. I was planning on jumping to 3.42. unfortunately money is an issue so the $1700 canadian $ I got quoted for a complete job is not possible at the moment. oh. yeah 1977 8.5 bop thanks

Good GOD.... We have a whole rear for 1295.00 complete ....
You could pay shipping and still be cheaper...lol.
YES you can and YES we do have a spacer for the ring to make any 2 series open or posi hold the 3 series gears.
65.00 for that kit with bolts lock tight and ring gear spacer plate.

If i rember correctly i saw the code years ago...it was a 1974 pontiac unit with 241 ratio...but when i had cover off and did the math it worked out to 256 what do you recommend for brgs n seals?
