Everything on your sight is for cars and what I can gather is from 1963 up. I have a chevy stepside with a 10 bolt dropout with 39 teeth on ring and 10 on pinnion. Would this be a 309?, and it's an oppen , would like limited slip and the tallest gear for gas saving. Is there any thing for this differential? the #'s on it are [ 3707340 ] and a circle with lines and [ D 1 ]

Ok well you do not have many choices here.

Your gear ratio is 39 -10 so 39 divided by 10 = 3.90 That is your ratio

Aftermarket makes ONE gear set for this rear (55T 8.875 early 12 bolt truck rear) It is 3.38 and the gears are in the 325.00 range...OUCH

I just complete one for a gentleman yesterday... Funny this coming up now...

Posi unit. NO SUCH BEAST. period. (well at least I have not seen one in 20years of doing this.

Your best bet if your looking for performance from your truck and rear is to swap out another rear and take the brackets form that one you have and change it over .

IF you want the original wheels to fit you might have to have custom axles made. DEPENDS on the bolt pattern. Get a width and start measuring.

Should ne pretty easy as there are only 3 attach points on this rear.
