Can anyone help with an ID of this carrier?
It seems to be an auburn style, but the numbers I found hav'nt been any help.
I would like to rebuild if possible.
10.5 ten bolt 273 up carrier.

That is a Borg Warner 10 bolt (round cover 10.5") 8.5 (ring gear diameter) Limited Slip posi unit

28 spline axle unit and can be used in all 1970 -1987 10 bolt 8.5 rears including bolt in axle or c-clip axle rears.

It is a cone type like Auburn units.

The cone and side gears are 2 separate pieces.

If you say it had 2.73 gears it will have 3 series carrier and will hold all ratios listed
