8.5 ID

Hi Jim.
This is a rear end that is claimed to be a 71' Olds Cutlass 8.5". Can you confirm this?

Yes sir that is a 10 bolt 8.5 71 72 Cutlass rear end
28 spline
bolt in axles
will fit all 1968-1972 GM a-body cars.

Thanks Jim,just wanted to double check.
Probably be an over the winter project for me. I'll get a hold of you in a few months for a rebuild kit.
