5 lug conversion monza
5 lug conversion monza
Have a rear end out of an 88? cameo s10. I am under the understanding that I can use the axles and get ring and pinion machined to fit the rear end of my monza for a 5 lug conversion. Is this right?
Re: 5 lug conversion monza
That would be a correct thought. depending on the year s-10 26 or 28 spline.
The gears can be machined we do it for 35.00 plus shipping use the s-10 yoke also with a conversion u-joint 3-3310 neapco
The yoke is stronger the gears are stronger and the axles even 26 spline from an s-10 are stronger and the 5 lug conversion gives you better choices in rubber.
All you need to do is get a set of s-10 drums and the rest of the brakes will work as long as you have 9.5 x 2" standard GM brakes. NO the smaller drums found on most 6.5 rears. Jim
