tri power

Post by Jazz »

maybe some one can clear this up......

I was always lead to believe that 66 was the last year for the tir power set ups........
I was talking to a guy today,, who said you still could have gotten them on 67, with a 67 casting number......

I have never seen one...........................
only 66 and earlier ! ! ! ! ! ! !

Well I am mostly a chevy guy, but I can tell you this... Anything can and did happen on them GM lines. If it was a late model 66 or they had extra parts or someone just plain wanted the option I do not doubt it could be purchased. I am sure you could by performance parts from the factory too. Did they have the build sheet? Jim

No,,, Jim.....

I was going to buy a tir power set that was for a 66.......
And the guy I was talking to said," it won't be correct-- why don't you get one for a 67,, this way it will be correct....."
That's what I was asking,,,, did they make a 67 casting tir-power....
I was lead to believe that the 66 set up was the last casting made.......
I ahce never seen or heard of tir powers made with 67 casting.......

Thank's,
Vince..............
