So will the c-clips work or will I have to use the eliminators ? I think the c-clips are different from 8.5 and 7.5 correct ?

I believe the truck is a 92. So if the 28 spline axles will work, then all I need is a housing and gears ? am I correct or not ? I am going to have to call and talk to someone one of these days. It would probably be easier that way.

Will the stock 7.625 axles (28 spline) fit the 8.5 rearend ?

I already have a 28 spline posi from a late 70's firebird that had 3.08 gears on it (I pitched them with the housing about 10 years ago). I was thinking of the open carrier for mini spool purposes, but I will probably just stay with the posi. Will 28 spline axles out of a 7.625 S10 rearend fit in ...

How much would it cost for a housing and axle package for an S10 ? Do you have open carriers and stock gears (3.08 to 3.73) for sale ?
