Was planning on a lot of strip and some street..I figure 3.73 or 4.10 gear ratio...31 spline c-clip would be fine as I only have a 350-400 horse motor. Or maybe a good aftermarket 28 spline posi and Moser axles for the 7.5 rear would probably work too.

how much for the 8.8 S10 rear for a 2wd. Will these be bolt in axles or c-clip?

Do you know what the difference would be from 8.8 to 8.5 as far as driveshafts. I heard you need a shorter one for the 8.5's.

Any chance to get a photo of the 8.5 or 8.8 actually in a g-body chassis to see how they fit?

1/4 and some 1/8. I will be running a powerglide w/ a 1.82 first gear. will be turning around 7000 rpm so i want either a 4.30 or 4.56 gear. The wagon will probably end up weighing around 3400 pounds.
I still have to measure the brake bolt pattern so i can tell you what housing ends to put on.

I see that richmond sells 28 spline mini spool for 7.5's. Can u simply remove the 26 spline spider gears and install the 28 spline mini spool along with 28 spline moser axles?
