8.5 identification
Ive got an 8.5 rearend under my 80 malibu. It was supposedly a G-body 8.5 out of a hurst olds but it has the 4-bolt backing flange on the tube ends. Possibly someone changed the flange im not sure. Is there any way to i.d. it using a casting number and where might that number be located? Thanks

g-body rearend swap
Just trying to find some info on putting a 72 monte carlo 10 bolt under my 78 Malibu. Is this a bolt in type thing using different UC arms and offset wheels? I know you can do this swap using the 68-72 chevelle rear but dont know much about the monte carlos rear. Is it the same width and mounting lo...
