Re: 9.375 Rear end posi gears

12 bolt chevy Posi side gears can be retro fit the small pinion spider gears are unique and will either need to be machined to fit from a 10 bolt Chevy 8.2 carrier and the ID machined to fit your cross shaft from your unit. IF you need a cross shaft...OH BOY.... That is going to be a real tough one....

Re: Gearing and Posi for 8.2" 'B' Buick Skylark Rear

We did aid in getting these 3.42 and 3.64 gears produced about 7 years ago. Things have happened with the manufacture of the years and they have been bought out and it will take some time to get on their feet and running gears. We just have to wait and see what happens at this point. Used 3.42 gears...

Re: Need some parts/part numbers for 8.5 axle rebuild

We at jd Race have all the specs and can and will help you get your order correct. It is best to get the axles ordered through a rear differential shop as will usually know the ins and outs and will also talk to you about other needed details such as wheel studs, type of limited slip unit to be used...

Re: 69 Lemans Safe T Trak

Yes will PM you with all the info
If you send it with the ring gear attached...PROTECT it well.

We will need to remove the carrier bearings so might be smart to just get NEW ones installed after the reconditioning. We will get you all the prices in a PM

Re: ZG 3.36 rear end help

Another thing is the posi unit... safety track. After this amount of time you really should open that unit to see if the cones are getting close bottoming out or bottoming out already. Jim

Re: ZG 3.36 rear end help

We have all the stuff. 10 bolt 8.2 PONTIAC Might be a good idea to ID this rear JUST to be sure it truly is what it is. There are really minimal rears that will fit the firebird so it should not be too bad and if the axlke tube has the ZG it really should be PONTIAC. Will send the price via PM to yo...

Re: Spring perch

They will not be exact as GM as on the 1970 -1981 they were slightly different from 1968 69 models They were mounts that actually lowered the chassis another 1/2" So others would raise your chassis a 1/2" than stock. We might have some good used perches removed from a MODIFIED REAR DONE IN THE PAST....
